About Amy

Amy has been with BVOH Search & Consulting, now Vaco, for the last 18 years, connecting and advising top accounting and finance talent across the San Francisco Bay area. She takes a relationship-oriented approach to closely collaborate with both her candidates and her clients. Amy graduated from Miami of Ohio with a degree in accounting and worked at Ernst & Young at the start of her career. 

Having always been a people person, Amy enjoys meeting new people and has always had a natural curiosity about most everything, but particularly people…so, she became an accountant. Eventually, she realized that she wanted to engage in a more meaningful way with people. As a recruiter, she leverages her accounting and finance background and is really able to understand and advise those with whom she works. 

Amy is very involved in her local community, including serving on the board of directors for Boys Team Charity in their Marin Chapter. Amy lives in Tiburon with her husband and three children.
