Summary:
Accountable for executing the effective planning, preparation and presentation of the Company's rate cases and other regulatory matters in all operating jurisdictions, to optimize the financial performance of the regulated utilities.
Education/Equivalent:
BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
MBA desired.
Work Experience Needed:
10 - 15 years related experience in a utility in the rate area.
Special Skills/Abilities Needed:
· Excellent writing, public speaking, organizational and interpersonal skills.
· The ability to develop and execute regulatory strategies which support business objectives.
· Excellent negotiating and networking skills
· Strong knowledge of all phases of regulatory processes, policies and practices
· Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with regulatory agencies, attorneys, consultants and Consumer Advocates externally, and operations, engineering, accounting and corporate departments internally.
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to gain consensus and collaboration, both internally and externally, on rate cases.
· Motivational skills with the ability to be a team player with vision and imagination.
· Proven project management skills and the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
· Ability to effectively train and develop staff
