Vaco Financial is currently seeking a highly qualified Director of Finance for our High-Tech Manufacturing client in Fort Collins, CO.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Finance is responsible for worldwide financial planning, internal management reporting, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and key financial decision support. Key contributor on the senior management and strategic planning team.
Position MUST HAVES - Please don't apply unless you meet these requirements:
* CPA or CMA
* High-Tech and/or International Manufacturing experience
* SAP knowledge
* 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2 years of international experience in a manufacturing environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides financial leadership to the Senior management team including complex analysis, business advice and financial policy enforcement.
* Drives the recurring financial plans for the company and is a key contributor in annual strategic planning.
* Oversees all monthly management reporting including product and market P&L statements with relevant variation analysis.
* Participate in setting standard costs for new parts during the year, quarterly analysis of standard costs and revaluation of inventory, overhead rate set up in SAP, and variance analysis of non-standard costs
* Owns and maintains the company business model.
* Identifies trends and opportunities to either improve processes or financial performance.
* Develops successful working relationships with the Senior and Executive management team.
* Manages a staff of financial professionals through mutual goal setting, mentoring and frequent feedback.
* Monitors internal control environment and works as needed with both internal audit and external audit to ensure corporate compliance.
* Conducts frequent presentations to management.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
* Extended working hours will be necessary from time to time
* Up to 30% travel, both domestic and international, may be required.
SKILLS:
* Demonstrated leadership abilities.
* Ability to utilize the full Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level of proficiency.
* Prior experience with an integrated ERP system.
* Solid judgment and a wide degree of creativity.
* Excellent organizational skills.
EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL):
* 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2 years of international experience in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of standard costing process within a manufacturing environment
* CPA or CMA
* Previous financial management experience in a High-Tech company
* SAP experience
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or similar.
Masters degree in Business Administration
